Western Australia (WA) is the largest state in Australia and one of the largest states in the world, covering an area of more than 2.5 million square kilometres.
The capital of WA is Perth, which is closer to Singapore and Indonesia than it is to Australia's own capital city - Canberra.
Known for being Australia's sunniest capital city, there are a range of activities available to suit each individual. From a day at the beach, a weekend down south at premium wineries or a trip up north experiencing the outback, there will be plenty of reasons to return.

Fremantle, also known as 'Freo', is one of the hot spot tourist destinations in Western Australia.
Fremantle is a major port for Western Australia and Fremantle Harbour is the entrance point for the many container ships, cruise ships, ferries and leisure craft that berth at the port in the Inner Harbour. Smaller leisure craft and ferries travel the 20 km’s up the Swan River to Perth.
The enclosed and sheltered Fishing Boat Harbour and Success Harbour protect the city’s working and recreational fleets and are within walking distance of the city centre. The Fishing Boat Harbour precinct also features boardwalks, cafes, restaurants and a brewery.
