The Rural and Remote Retrieval Weekend provided participants with the opportunity to learn about the management of medical emergencies in a remote environment with limitation in equipment, personnel and resources.
- Participants learnt in a supportive environment that encouraged relevant, practical and self-directed approach to learning.
- Participants developed their practical skills and professional abilities such as teaching, teamwork, leadership and dealing with stress and uncertainty.
- Participants had the opportunity to network with colleagues in a unique setting.

- Nurse practitioners
- Emergency department clinicians and critical care nurses
Rural Procedural Grants Program
