About the Forum

Following the 2021 WA Ear and Hearing Telehealth Forums, health professionals are invited to join us at this one-day event to:

  • Learn and identify culturally-inclusive practices for Aboriginal people and families.
  • Hear from local planning forums and providers about successful collaborations.
  • Identify intersectoral partnerships and initiatives in improving ear and hearing health outcomes.
  • Learn from leading WA researchers supporting ear and hearing health.
  • Participate in hands-on interactive upskilling and education on current guidelines and protocols.
  • Engage and network with other health professionals and providers working to reduce the burden of ear disease.

Who should attend?

Multidisciplinary health professionals with clinical roles or providers with a strong interest in ear and hearing health are invited to attend the Forum, including:

  • Clinical practitioners (GPs and nurses)
  • Aboriginal health practitioners and workers 
  • Audiologists 
  • Ear, nose and throat surgeons
  • Ear health coordinators
  • Primary health care service providers
  • Researchers
Please note: Attendance at previous WA Ear and Hearing Telehealth Forum is not a requirement for registration.
