Welcome

The South Regional Health Research Collaborative looks forward to welcoming you to Albany for the South Regional Health Research Forum on Friday 26 August 2022.

The South Regional Health Research Collaborative facilitates collaboration and community engagement in health research design, methodology, implementation and translation of findings among south regional communities. The Collaborative aims to identify and support research projects that respond to regional needs as they evolve.

This forum is an opportunity for health professionals, community members, consumers, community organisations, local government, researchers and early investigators with an interest in research and quality improvement activities to learn about and contribute to research projects being undertaken across the southern regions of Western Australia and for clinical researchers to showcase and share their work.  A local approach of targeted health research, collaboration and action facilitates better health outcomes for regional communities.

The forum will provide you with the opportunity to learn, mentor, contribute and network.

We hope to see you in Albany in August.

Acknowledgement to Country

The South Regional Health Research Collaborative acknowledges the traditional custodians throughout Western Australia and their continuing connection to the land, waters and community. We pay our respects to all members of Aboriginal communities and their cultures; and to Elders past and present, and emerging leaders.
