About the Symposium

This symposium is proudly delivered by Rural Health West in partnership with WA Country Health Service, through the Better Medical Care Initiative.

The one day Rural Clinicians, Rural Practice and Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) Symposium will include lectures, interactive discussions and sessions delivered throughout the day, facilitated by experienced rural health professionals.  The symposium is centred around creating a safe and open environment for rural clinicians to explore VAD in the context of rural practice, contextualising the legislation, process, practice, consequences and potential unintended consequences of VAD. The symposium will also provide an opportunity to network with fellow colleagues.
