Call for abstracts for the 2021 Aboriginal Health Conference to be held in Perth on the 20 and 21 November 2021 have now closed!


Abstract review process

All abstracts submitted for the 2021 Aboriginal Health Conference are currently going through the following process:

1.    All abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Committee.

a.    Acceptance of an abstract will be based on the degree to which the abstract matches the streams of the conference.

b.    All abstracts will be considered based on the merit of the individual submission and will be assessed according to the following criteria:

i.    Relevance to conference streams and learning objectives addressed

ii.    Importance of presentation topic

iii.    Relevance of content to audience

iv.    Contemporary or innovative issue

c.     Abstracts with a clear evidence base will be prioritised.

2.    Authors will be notified of their abstract results by 18 August 2021.

3.    All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference program and on the conference website.

4.    Rural Health West requires written confirmation of the presentation offer by 30 August 2021.

5.    Presenters must have registered to attend the conference by 27 September 2021. Payment of conference registration is a condition of presenting           at the conference. 

6.    Please note that presenters are responsible for their own travel to and from the conference.
