Rural Health West will provide the following travel support for currently practising medical practitioners, nurses and midwives and their partners who work and live in rural and remote Western Australia.

Flights
To be eligible for flight travel support, medical practitioners, nurses and midwives must book all flights through Corporate Traveller. Should the cost of the airfare exceed the flat rate travel allowance for your region (as per table above), Corporate Traveller will request payment from you for the difference at the time of booking.
Fees for changes to tickets are not reimbursable by Rural Health West. Should you wish to travel to or from Perth outside of the specified conference dates, your fare can still be covered on condition no additional expense to the organisation is incurred.

If you are a medical practitioner, nurse or midwife who is driving to Perth for the conference, you are eligible for a reimbursement for your fuel expenses (up to the maximum travel allowance listed above) to and from Perth to your home town.
A Reimbursement Form will need to be completed and posted to the Events Team at Rural Health West by Friday 16 April 2021. Please ensure that original tax invoices are provided when submitting your claim. EFTPOS receipts will not be accepted.

Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is easily accessible by foot, ride-share or public transport including bus, train or ferry from South Perth.
Positioned adjacent to the Swan River, Elizabeth Quay train station and bus port or 10 minutes to Perth Underground train station.
