Registrations for the Children's program are now closed
We welcome children and family members accompanying delegates to WA Rural Health Conference 2023.
We invite children to attend the Children’s Program activities without their parents, however, should a grown up wish to join the group they are more than welcome. All children's activities are supervised by Rural Health West staff and agency care givers all of which hold current working with children cards.
Rural Health West offers travel support to one immediate family member (adult or child) for each full WA Rural Health Conference 2022 delegate. Approval must be sought from Rural Health West prior to booking children's flights with Corporate Traveller. Before booking, please see the full travel support terms and conditions on the travel tab.
Babysitting for extended events
If your family requires childcare for events surrounding the conference including pre and post conference workshops, breakfast meetings, early conference sessions please contact Dial and Angel on 08 9364 5488 to book and pay directly. Rural Health West uses this childcare agency for all Perth-based children's programs.

Cost $20.00 per child per session | Includes morning/afternoon tea and lunch
Venue Adina Apartment Hotel Perth
Cared for by kind, mature agency caregivers, your child will have toys and activities provided in an allocated Adina Apartment Hotel Perth room. With close proximity to the conference proceedings, parents may access the In-house Care room throughout the day for feeding, settling or other needs. There will be a quiet adjoining room for sleeping children if required.
Parents to provide nappies, drink bottles (including formula) and your child's comforter.

Venue Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre
The crew at STEMSmart are on a mission to teach young people how to design, create and foster innovative thinking. The workshop will be hands-on and offer a wide range of creative and technical opportunities from robotics to coding, drones and virtual reality, all in an inspiring and supportive environment. Different stages and abilities will be catered for.
The afternoon will be spent locally taking in the attractions of Elizabeth Quay and surrounds.

Perth Zoo (5 yrs+)
Time 8.30am – 5.00pm
Cost $30.00 per child I Includes Zoo entry, morning and afternoon tea, lunch, ferry transport
We are going wild at the Perth Zoo! We will spend most of the day meeting animals from all around the world, with a special close encounter with the giraffe.
We will make use of the Transperth Ferry to get us across the river, to and from the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

A tour around Perth city with our very own chauffeurs! Climbing aboard Rickshaws, the most fun and efficient way to get around, our very experienced and knowledgeable riders will take us to some of Perth’s iconic spots such as Yagan Square, Elizabeth Quay, Wolf Lane and the new WA Museum Boola Bardip. At the Museum we will have a guided tour and time to roam.
