On behalf of Rural Health West, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the WA Rural Health Conference 2025,
taking place at the Pan Pacific Perth on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 March 2025.
This year’s theme, “Strengthening Rural WA: One connection at a time,” reflects the vital role we all play in
fostering connections that enhance healthcare delivery and support our rural communities. The conference will bring
together passionate health professionals from diverse disciplines, creating opportunities to share ideas, forge partnerships,
and celebrate the extraordinary contributions of those working in rural and remote areas.
It’s an especially exciting time for Rural Health West as we prepare to welcome our new Chief Executive Officer, who
will join us shortly before the conference. This transition marks a pivotal moment for our organisation, and the
conference will provide a fantastic opportunity for you to meet our incoming CEO, get to know her vision for Rural
Health West, and share your own insights about the future of rural health.
We are thrilled to present a lineup of remarkable keynote speakers, including Captain Mona Shindy, CSC,
Emeritus Professor Mike Daube, and Dr Zac Seidler, whose inspiring stories and expertise will spark
new ideas and meaningful discussions.
Your attendance will ensure you’re part of an incredible gathering of professionals dedicated to strengthening rural
healthcare through innovation, collaboration, and commitment.
We look forward to welcoming you to the WA Rural Health Conference 2025 and encourage you to register early to secure
your place at this unmissable event.

WA Country Health Service Welcome
On behalf of the Board and Executive of WA Country Health Service I am pleased to welcome you to the 2025 WA Rural Health Conference.
This year’s conference theme is "Strengthening Rural WA: One connection at a time". It's an acknowledgment that in country health, our connection to people and place plays an important role in the way we deliver healthcare.
Delivering exceptional care across an area of more than 2.55 million square kilometres is made possible because of the connections our staff have with their communities.
We work hard to develop initiatives and programs that give our people the tools to deliver high quality, safe and integrated care.
This year’s theme also highlights the important of connecting with partners to help us drive innovation, and advance health outcomes in the bush.
At WA Country Health Service, our partnerships with Aboriginal medical services, non-government organisations, GPs, other health service providers – and most importantly, consumers and carers – are always front and centre.
This conference is a unique opportunity to connect with colleagues and peers from across right across country WA.
I encourage you to listen, talk, learn, ask questions, and strengthen your connections.
Thank you for joining us and thank you for everything you do to provide care across country WA.
Jeff Moffet Chief Executive WA Country Health Service
