Can I upgrade my registration? 

Upgrades can be made from a day registration to a full conference registration. Delegates will need to pay the price difference between the two registration types. 

To do so, simply email the Events Team at warhc@ruralhealthwest.com.au before registrations close on Wednesday 26 February 2025 at midnight.

Please be aware that early bird rates will no longer apply if the upgrade request is made after the early bird cut-off date.

Can I cancel my registration? 

Cancellations can be made according to our Cancellation Policy.

Please email the Events Team at warhc@ruralhealthwest.com.au with your request. 

Cancellation Policy

Full RefundCancellations made on or before Sunday 26 January 2025 are eligible for a full refund.
Partial RefundCancellations between Monday 27 January and Sunday 16 February 2025 will receive
a 50 per cent (50%) refund.

No RefundCancellations made on or after Monday 17 February 2025 are non-refundable.

In the event the conference is cancelled or postponed, all delegates will receive a full refund.

Am I eligible for travel support? 

If you can answer 'yes' to all of the below questions, you are likely eligible!

  • Do you live and work permanently in a region other than Perth or Peel in Western Australia?
  • Are you currently working as a health professional (including GPs, medical practitioners, nurses, midwives, allied health workers, Aboriginal health practitioners/workers)?
  • Are you travelling specifically for the purpose of attending the conference?
  • Have you registered for both days of the conference?
  • Did you or will you attend the conference in full (both days) and demonstrate attendance by scanning into every session?
  • Can you provide tax receipts for your fuel or flight travel expenses?

Can my partner join me at the conference? 

Partners are welcome to attend the conference by purchasing an 'Other' registration. This will ensure they are warmly welcomed and included in catering breaks and seating arrangements. 

Additionally, partners are welcome to purchase a ticket to the WA Rural Health Excellence Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner.

I have children, do you offer any support? 

We invite you and your family to join us in Perth for the WA Rural Health Conference 2025. We offer support through our family program and are pleased to provide: 

  • Reimbursement of childcare expenses for the purpose of attending the conference.
  • Conference travel support for immediate family members of full conference delegates. 

Please note:

  • Children are not permitted in the conference sessions, except for infants  (where necessary).
  • To ensure compliance with Medicines Australia regulations, guest under 18 are unable to enter the trade exhibition room. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy. 
  • The WA Rural Health Excellence Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner is an 18+ event.

Can I attend the conference if I live outside of Western Australia?

Health professionals from outside of Western Australia are welcome at the conference. However, the program is specifically tailored to address healthcare interests and issues relevant to rural and remote communities within Western Australia. 

Please note: Travel support is not available to delegates travelling from outside of Western Australia. 

Are there any discounts to stay at the hotel? 

Attendees staying at the conference venue, Pan Pacific Perth, will receive an exclusive discounted rate of $255 per night (room only). This rate is available only until Monday 20 January 2025, so we encourage booking your accommodation before then to secure the best price.

I have dietary requirements, can these be catered for? 

The Pan Pacific Perth tries their best to accommodate dietary requirements. Please ensure to select your requirement/s when registering. 

The hotel follows strict health and safety protocols when handling food and dietary needs. However, please note that potential allergens are present in daily operations, and while the hotel strives to avoid cross-contamination, they cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens. Delegates are advised to bring any necessary allergen medications, if applicable.

Is the conference venue accessible?

The Pan Pacific Perth is equipped with a range of accessibility features to ensure a comfortable and inclusive experience for all conference delegates. The hotel provides accessible rooms, wheelchair-accessible lifts, ramps, and toilets. You will receive further details in your pre-arrival letter in the weeks leading up to the conference. 

If you have any specific accessibility requirements, please make sure to include them in your registration so that the conference organisers can accommodate your needs. If you have already submitted your registration and need to add your requirements, please contact the Events Team at warhc@ruralhealthwest.com.au.
