Can I upgrade my registration?
You can upgrade from a day registration to a full conference registration. Delegates will need to pay the difference between the two registration types.

To request an upgrade, please email our Events Team at warhc@ruralhealthwest.com.au before registrations close on Friday 20 February 2026 at midnight.

Please note: If you upgrade after the early bird deadline, early bird rates will no longer apply.
Can I transfer my registration to somebody else?
If you are no longer able to make it to the conference your registration may be transferred to another person; however, an administrative fee of $50 will apply for each transfer. No registration transfer requests will be accepted after registrations close on Friday 20 February 2026 at midnight.

Can I cancel my registration?
Cancellations can be made in line with our Cancellation Policy.

Please email our Events Team at warhc@ruralhealthwest.com.au to request a cancellation.

Cancellation Policy
  • Full Refund: Cancellations made on or before Sunday 18 January 2026 are eligible for a full refund.
  • Partial Refund: Cancellations made between Monday 19 January to Sunday 8 February 2026 will receive a 50% refund.
  • No Refund: Cancellations made on or after Monday 9 February 2026 are non-refundable.
In the event the conference is cancelled or postponed, all delegates will receive a full refund.
Am I eligible for travel support?
If you can answer 'yes' to all of the below questions, you are likely eligible!
  • Do you live and work permanently in a region other than Perth or Peel in Western Australia?
  • Are you currently working as a health professional (including GPs, medical practitioners, nurses, midwives, allied health workers, Aboriginal health practitioners/workers)?
  • Are you travelling specifically for the purpose of attending the conference?
  • Have you registered for both days of the conference?
  • Did you or will you attend the conference in full (both days) and demonstrate attendance by scanning into every session?
  • Can you provide tax receipts for your fuel or flight travel expenses?

Are there any discounts to stay at the hotel?
Attendees staying at the conference venue, Crown Perth, will receive an exclusive discount on the best available rates. We recommend booking early to secure the best price.

Rural Health West is offering a reimbursement of $75 (inc. GST) per night up and per room to a maximum of $150 (inc. GST) to eligible delegates staying at Crown Perth on Friday 13 March 2026 and/or Saturday 14 March 2026 to attend the conference.

Am I eligible for the accommodation reimbursement?
If you can answer 'yes' to all of the below questions, you are likely eligible!
  • Did you stay at a Crown Perth hotel (Crown Towers, Crown Metropol or Crown Promenade) on Friday 13 March 2026 and/or Saturday 14 March 2026?
  • Did you organise and pay for your Crown Perth hotel booking, without the cost being reimbursed or covered by another party (e.g. your employer)?
  • Do you live and work permanently in a region other than Perth or Peel in Western Australia?
  • Are you currently working as a health professional (including GPs, medical practitioners, nurses, midwives, allied health workers, Aboriginal health practitioners/workers)?
  • Did you stay at a Crown Perth hotel specifically for the purpose of attending the conference?
  • Have you registered for both days of the conference?
  • Did you or will you attend the conference in full (both days) and demonstrate attendance by scanning into every session?

Can my partner join me at the conference?
Partners are welcome to attend by purchasing an 'Other' registration. This ensures they are warmly welcomed and included in catering breaks and seating arrangements. Please be aware the conference content is aimed at rural health professionals.

Partners can also purchase a ticket to the WA Rural Health Excellence Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner.

I have children, do you offer any support?
We welcome families to join us in Perth for the WA Rural Health Conference 2026 and offer support through our family program, including:
  • Reimbursement of childcare expenses for the purpose of attending the conference.
  • Travel support for immediate family members of full conference delegates.
Important notes:
  • Children are not permitted in the conference sessions (except for infants where necessary).
  • Due to Medicines Australia regulations, guests under 19 are not permitted in the trade exhibition room. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy.
  • The WA Rural Health Excellence Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner is an 18+ event.

Can I attend the conference if I live outside of Western Australia?
Health professionals from outside of Western Australia are welcome to attend the conference. However, please note that the program is specifically tailored to address healthcare interests and issues relevant to rural and remote communities within Western Australia.

Please note: Travel support is not available for delegates travelling from outside of Western Australia.
I have dietary requirements, can these be catered for?
Crown Convention Centre will do their best to accommodate dietary requirements. Please ensure to specify your requirements when completing your conference registration.

While every effort will be made to cater to food allergies and intolerances, Crown Convention Centre cannot guarantee completely allergen-free meals. Crown Convention Centre follows strict health and safety protocols when handling food and dietary requirements. Potential allergens are present in daily general operations. In the unlikely event of consumption of potential allergens, the individual delegate is responsible to carry their own allergen medication including the epi pen.
Is the conference venue accessible?
Crown Convention Centre is equipped with a range of accessibility features to ensure a comfortable and inclusive experience for all delegates. This includes accessible rooms across all three Crown Perth hotels, wheelchair-accessible lifts, ramps, toilets and parking bays. Details can be found on the Venue page.

Can I sponsor and/or exhibit at the conference?

What are the WA Rural Health Conference 2026 terms and conditions?
Privacy statement
The Privacy Act 2014 provides that before your personal contact details can be published or made available to major sponsors, exhibitors and other parties directly related to the conference, you must give your consent. If you do not consent to your contact details being provided to the above mentioned parties, please contact the Events Team.

Rural Health West values and respects your privacy and personal details. Personal information is collected in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be viewed here.

Cancellation policy
If conference registration is cancelled on or before Sunday 18 January 2026, a full refund is given. If conference registration is cancelled between Monday 19 January 2026 and Sunday 8 February 2026, a refund of 50% is given. Refunds will not be issued for any registrations cancelled on or after 9 February 2026. Delegates will receive a full refund should this conference be cancelled or postponed.

Photo and video footage
Photos and video footage may be taken by either Rural Health West staff or other participants during the course of this event. This imagery may be used in Rural Health West marketing material to either promote future events or in the Rural Health Matters newsletter. If you do not consent to photos or videos being taken, please contact the Events Team at warhc@ruralhealthwest.com.au.
